Influences
Drugs, peers, and sitcoms. Just like everybody else.
Whatever happened to that crude-mouthed pixie they called Amy Arena? You found her!
A release date will soon be announced for a new album relying heavily on vocal melodies and poetic lyricism.
Since leaving the industry during plans for a world-tour, Arena seemingly went M.I.A. Repeatedly coming face-to-face with young fans still in elementary school, Amy decided in order to be responsible to herself and to the public she should walk away from label expectations to recreate another explicit rage tantrum. On the flip side, Arena also felt her generous spirit and leftist views were being over-looked by ridiculously sensitive guilt dwellers who can't take a joke.
With a richly layered, multi-faceted perception of the universe, Arena refused to remain in a stylistic box. With so much more on her mind, Arena continued singing and writing lyrics for many producers in the fields of electronic and experimental music around the states. Though a dozen creative projects born from esoteric ideas resulted in dozens of songs, Arena, unattached to product, often never even heard a great deal of the finished tracks others shared on the dance floor.
Amy Arena finally discovered a body of work she's attached to and is truly looking forward to sharing this creature with all of you. Musically, this collection of songs truly mirrors the vocalist's enthusiastic and almost absurd interest in everything under the sun. The story in the words reflect Amy's personal aspirations to share deeper love and understanding with her family and friends by accepting the loneliness of her childhood and moving beyond the profound sorrow bred by abusive relationships.
Just wanted to stop by and say hope everything is going well!

We used to be called "Mumrik" that was looking for a singer and now we finally found a singer and the band name became STM since we are working together at a distance of 6000miles from Leeds, UK to Kyoto, Japan. We have uploaded 3 songs now. Check out how it works.
Thank you so much Amy. I hope you are blessed with an abundance of your wildest dreams this year. p.s. I found a Jeremy Ellis Demo song that came with Reason 4 and it made me think of you. Hope all is well.
