Over the years, delta blues found her and singer-songwriters left her inspired. The thread for has always been simple songs with gritty lyrics about the lives of average folks. To her, the most compelling stories are about those basic, common experiences of humankind. This is the music she listen's to and these are the songs she writes. Raw. Simple.
