My name is George Hans Waters. I'm an Irishman who was born in W.Berlin back when the wall was very new and real... While growing up in N.Y.C. during the early 1980's I became very aware of the experimental music scene and embraced it fully. Some projects I've worked on over the years in no particular order are - in NY: The Nixon Administration, Third Uncle, The Yalta Conference, HANS 1-3, Lucid Intervals, Adam-12... In CT: The Official Hooligans, Thee Sin Eaters Death Party... Since 2004 I have become more interested in the technician role but lately I've desired to return to performer. Orchard Street Studios. Sounds / Images is the result of a journey which started in Bay Ridge Brooklyn when I had a small but interesting bedroom studio called No Braine. To this day, I feel the most interesting body of my work was done there between 1982 and 1992. Presently, I am working in a personal private studio called 'the little room' - which is entirely computer based using an Alienware System running Ubuntu... The purpose of this site is to present new original music to anyone who is interested in listening to my compositions. Consider this site also a work in progress, always changing and evolving over time as needs dictate. At this very moment - besides my solo work - I have two very different musical projects in the works. Firstly is "george's daughter" which will be more prog rock in nature, while my second project "Minimal Effort" will be more minimalist / noise orientated. Any performances will be listed with notice given, audiences will most likely be limited to no more than 25 at any given moment. Anyone who is interested in collaborating please feel free to contact me - but kindly understand that it may take up to a week for me to reply - since this machine is not in my hometown of East Derby, CT.
