In Debt is an original funk based rock & roll band from New Orleans, LA. Uprooted from a natural disaster; In Debt was transplanted, and is now ready to introduce its original rock & roll to the music lovers of the Shenandoah Valley...............................
Since 2002, In Debt has been spreading the word of peace & tolerance to all who care to listen.
We want to show the world just how symbiotic music can be.
A bit of musical history:
Founding member, Cajun Lynne took advantage of a once in a lifetime opportunity to unite Billy M. (bass), & Henry K.(drums) in 2002. Billy & Henry were available after the recent break-up of their former band, May Flood. It didn't take long to realize that the mix of Billy, Henry, & Lynne would produce such meaningful, & entertaining music................................
After relocating, In Debt has reunited with friend/guitarist Matt Painter to complete the band.
On stage, In Debt projects energy with its funky, rockin, high spirited sights and sounds. In Debt not only plays original music, but also performs amazing covers by artists such as: Heart, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, Rush, Tool, and MORE!!!! Delivering all songs with an "in your face" style and flair......................
