Hello to all of you beautiful people who are taking time out of your valuable day to read this needlessly wordy biography that we have been advised to write to make us seem like people, and not 4 robots who are unable to cry. Or to love. Or to do seedy things to your private parts. Which we can. To great effect.
If I can pretend to be partly serious for a few minutes, we all come from parts of Scotland that are separated by about £30 of train-tickets to get to the mutual meeting place of Ayr. It's not our point of meeting by choice, it's just that we all go to university there and its convenience outweighs its wetness. As three of us are music students, we felt it best to be cliche and create a band in which we can express how musical we think we are. Campbell is a film student though, so he just films us creepily. And plays bass occasionally. That was at the end of 2009. It's now a good way through 2010 and the only thing that has changed is that we've played some gigs of varying quality, wrote some songs about people we don't like and Sam cut his emo hair. Oh, and we recorded some songs at university which are up on the tunes-player up above this box. Listen to them and gain a cookie. That's a promise. Assuming you steal cookies. Which you should.
The plans for the future are that of any band at an unknown status. Record and EP, attempt to build a fanbase and then finally work up to world domination.
If you're not completely repelled by our music or banter, you call follow us on the 140-character phenomenon that is Twitter, become our 'fan' on Facebook and download the songs for free on the camp of bands.

Kick off @ 8:00pm It's going to be a real big night in a tiny wee venue. We almost had to turn folks away at our last launch in Jan, so getting your tickets in advance is recommended.

We are The Morgue Party Candidate and we are also so cool it hurts. Often recognised for our jazzy dance skills and guitar throwing on stage antics, we are a trio that longs to find a special place in your heart.
