Hard to say... so much has been an influence and incorporated, Resurrected 1:16 truly has become everything else and something new, in one messed up package.

From the ashes of at least two entities comes the rising of a new band: Resurrected 1:16. Their first album, "The Ashes Of Influence," is a compilation showcasing the material of where JD Widowmaker and Hung Badseed once were. As the Resurrected 1:16 line-up continues to grow, so does their fan base, energy, and intense style of Metal.

Founded by JD Widowmaker, the concept of Resurrected 1:16 began on January 16th, 2003, although many of the inner laying basis had been there since the 80's. Fed up with New Jersey and it's "employment policies," JD packed up and moved to Jacksonville, Florida. For the majority of 2004, JD constantly tried to fulfill the line completion of Resurrected 1:16, something that was constantly faultering in Jersey. The 1st line up had been born in Florida but, lived for a short 3 months. With JD on Vocals & Guitars, Pat on Drums, and Pat's friend (Nameless, cause it changed daily) on bass, material was flowing but, solidness was far from reach... So was "getting out of the garage." With living quarters getting hostile and the Florida job market not paying well, JD moved back to New Jersey and continued to persue many possibilities.
Putting Resurrected 1:16 on the back burner for a bit, JD lended his guitar abilities to a group called GUILTY. Another short lived venture that spawned an offspring band called ONE LESS PROBLEM. However, ONE LESS PROBLEM became an even shorter lived venture. A band that ended in a faded confusion after the bassist broke his leg. 2006 was reaching an end and JD was back at the musical drafting board.
Then came a small sign of hope for the Resurrected 1:16 concept. JD's ex-girlfriend introduced him to her boyfriend, Badseed (another story for another time so, don't ask) and he had an energy about him that was crowd crushing. Badseed was the vocalist for a semi popular New Jersey band called 30 ODD SIX and wrote lyrics that people could relate to. In addition, his music had another style and crunch JD wanted to add to the Resurrected 1:16 vision. With JD's "everything's an influence" and Badseed's "Hardcore attitude," a new mesh of sound was in it's creation... a rebirth of Resurrected 1:16.

As this is written, JD and Badseed continue to write new music. Regardless of what genres are out there, Resurrected 1:16 is a mesh of everything and anything as a influence and inspiration for their style of Metal. From previews, the majority of the new material is harder edged and heavier than the Ashes material. Also, keep an eye out for other material that comes out of the Resurrected camp.
