With an ear for tasteful technique and feeling Rick is a musician who strives to paint musical portraits with his strings. Rick has established a long musical carreer, ith a background ranging from blues to fusion and most things in between. Rick has developed a reputation as an expressionist on the guitar. With over 35 years of stage and studio experience, song writing and arranging, Rick has established himself as a highly sought after guitarist for sessions and live performance.
Living in the Kansas City area where he is involved in both the blues and jazz music scenes. He performs regulary at festivals, clubs and church.
Rick has a 2 hour performance show of fusion & blues called "Blues for Brains". Lots of Carlton, Metheny and Scofield tunes. He is aided by some of the areas top musicians. Also, Rick is filling the guitar slot in the KC funk Pop & jazz enertainment goup "Uptown Players" (www.uptownplayerskc.com)
